MAC Sleeper Units
Wherever we are, we all work better after a good night's sleep. Especially if we've been able to relax somewhere pleasant in the brief period between finishing work and getting our weary heads down.
A MAC Sleeper Unit isn't quite home-from-home
But it is both pleasant and practical
It's somewhere to enjoy a hot shower
Put your feet up
Enjoy a cooked meal
Watch some TV or a Video
And then turn in
In other words, after a hard day's work... a MAC Sleeper Unit works
A MAC 4-bed sleeper unit is a fully insulated, fully equipped base, designed for people who work hard at tough jobs, far from home.
After a hard day's work, the emphasis is on easy-going comfort in a practical low-maintenance environment, with plenty of cupboard space. Watch TV, put on a video - or simply opt for peace and quiet while reading a good book, or emailing someone special. One thing there won't be much of is housework.
Easy-clean surfaces throughout:
- Kitchen worktops
- Vinyl flooring
- Non-Slip shower floor
- Gloss surface walls
Full electric facilities include:
- Thermostatically controlled convector heating
- Electric water heater
- Shower
- Fully-equipped kitchen
- Toilet with wash basin
- Fluorescent lighting throughout
At 40' x 10' (131m x 32.8m) the sleeper unit provides plenty of space for relaxation and furniture - beds, easy chairs, a sofa, TV. (Those who prefer to curl up with a good book will appreciate the fluorescent lighting).
Sleeping Accommodation:
A typical MAC sleeper unit has four beds. One lucky person (Team Leader, or simply whoever's won the toss?) has their own bedroom.
The other 3 beds share a spacious dormitory, with double power sockets. All four beds measure a comfortable 6'6' x 2'6'.
Security is ensured by a 'Kirncroft' personnel door.
